When you use our service, we collect:

• Contact info: Name, business name, email, mobile phone number
• Order details: Parts requested, delivery address, job-site location
• Payment info: Processed securely through Stripe — we do not store full card numbers or bank credentials
• Messages: SMS, email, and in-app messages between you and us, retained for service-quality and dispute-resolution purposes
• Usage data: Basic analytics (pages visited, app screens used, errors) to improve the product

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your parts orders
• Send transactional SMS, email, and app notifications about quotes, orders, deliveries, and invoices
• Coordinate delivery with third-party couriers (e.g., Uber Direct)
• Process payments through our payment processor (Stripe)
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Improve our service, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

4. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number — whether through our website, app, or by texting our business line — you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from HVAC Parts Connect related to your orders, quotes, deliveries, and invoices. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared. We only share phone numbers with the third-party service providers strictly necessary to deliver our service (e.g., Twilio for SMS delivery, Uber Direct for courier coordination).

We share information only with vendors that help us deliver our service, and only to the extent necessary:

• Uber Direct — courier delivery dispatch and tracking
• Resend / Google — transactional email
• Supabase — secure database hosting

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or marketers.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), restricted access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers in raw form.
